Size Guide

To ensure the hat fits properly, measure the circumference of your head using a measuring tape. Our sun hat is suitable for head sizes between 55 cm and 58 cm and can be adjusted on the inside. Measuring is simple: place the measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears, wrapping it around the back of your head.

UV Protection

A sun hat helps protect against the sun’s harmful UV rays. It reduces the risk of skin cancer and helps keep your skin healthy by preventing premature aging. For the best protection, choose a wide brim and darker colors. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen for additional protection.

The combination of straw, polyester, and cotton in this hat provides UPF 30 protection. This means 29/30 of UV radiation is blocked, allowing only 1/30 of UV rays to penetrate the fabric and reach the skin — comparable to SPF 30 sunscreen.

SPF 30: allows only 3.3% UV transmission and blocks 96.7% of UVA/UVB radiation.

People who are highly sensitive to UV rays, such as those with sun allergies or certain skin conditions, may require a higher protection factor (50+).

UPF 30 means you can safely stay in the sun approximately 300 minutes longer compared to having no protection — around 5 extra hours without increased risk.
